GAEA
Agency
Authority Through Osmosis
An authority and opportunity practice
for positioning, communications, influence,
discovery, and representation.
Los Angeles, California
01 · The Company
Built for how authority is created now.
GAEA works with people, companies, brands, and ideas to align how they are understood across the environments now shaping discovery, reputation, influence, and commercial opportunity. The result is clarity that travels: a story that arrives ahead of you, everywhere it counts.
The practice brings strategy, communications, media, cultural intelligence, partnerships, and representation under a single point of view, and is organized around the judgment that comes before execution. What should grow. What should change. What should be built next, and in what order.
The agency was founded on a simple observation. The systems that create reputation now work as one environment, and the companies and people who treat them that way hold a meaningful advantage. Audiences, customers, media, collaborators, and decision-makers increasingly form impressions before direct contact ever occurs.
AI-mediated discovery is the newest expression of that change, and the next evolution of a shift GAEA’s founders have read correctly before. It is not the whole environment. It is, however, increasingly where people are discovering, learning, and ultimately making decisions.

02 · Method
Seven decisions before execution.
Before GAEA writes, produces, negotiates, places, launches, or recommends anything, Authority Through Osmosis answers seven questions in order.
01What is the opportunity in front of us?
02What should this company or person be known for?
03Which audiences matter most, and in what order?
04Where should authority be built first?
05What should be strengthened, highlighted or protected, as visibility grows?
06Which opportunities create the most long-term value?
07How can every point of communication reinforce the others?
Clear strategic decisions open the opportunities to scale.
03 · The Discovery Environment
Discovery is no longer a channel.
It is an environment.
A person, company, brand, or idea may now be encountered through any of the surfaces below, and impressions form before direct contact ever occurs. These surfaces increasingly inform, cite, and reinforce one another: coverage shapes AI answers, answers shape search behavior, and a clear position compounds across all of them.
Each surface can and must inform, cite, and reinforce the others.
04 · The System
Authority Through Osmosis
Proprietary
GAEA’s proprietary intelligence and positioning system for coordinating how people, companies, brands, and ideas are understood across the environments where discovery, reputation, and decision now take place. The objective is not visibility everywhere. It is authority in the places that matter.

09 · The Record
Being early is not a claim.
It is a record.
GAEA was founded by two executives whose careers repeatedly anticipated where attention, culture, technology, and commercial opportunity were moving before those shifts became conventional wisdom. The significance is not prediction for its own sake. It is the ability to recognize structural change, build practical models around it, and create advantage while others are still adjusting.

11 · Gina Chung
Gina Chung
Co-Founder · Global Brand Leadership
A global marketing executive whose career has been defined by building influential brands, leading high-impact partnerships, and driving transformative business growth.
Gina served as Head of Global & Digital Brand Marketing at Forever 21 during one of the company’s most significant periods of international expansion. As part of the brand’s leadership team, she helped shape its global marketing strategy while overseeing digital marketing, public relations, music partnerships, brand collaborations, and integrated campaigns, during an era in which Forever 21 operated nearly 800 stores worldwide and recorded more than USD $4 billion in annual sales.
Recognizing the long-term commercial potential of esports before widespread brand adoption, Gina joined Gen.G Esports in 2019 as Vice President of Brand, Activation & Apparel and was promoted to Chief Marketing Officer in 2021. She led global brand strategy, marketing, creative campaigns, and commercial partnerships, helping strengthen Gen.G’s position at the intersection of gaming, fashion, entertainment, and education. During her tenure, Forbes ranked Gen.G eighth among the world’s most valuable esports companies in 2022, with an estimated value of USD $250 million.
Across each role, her focus has been the decisions that determine long-term enterprise value: which markets to enter, which partnerships to build, and where commercial leadership is established before a category matures.
12 · Rhiyen Sharp
Rhiyen Sharp
Co-Founder · Early Recognition of Structural Change
A strategic advisor, talent representative, and media executive. For more than fifteen years, Rhiyen has worked at the intersection of luxury publishing, strategic communications, talent representation, reputation architecture, digital strategy, and cultural influence. His career has been defined by an ability to recognize fundamental shifts in consumer behavior, technology, and media long before they become conventional wisdom, and to translate those insights into strategies that create lasting competitive advantage.
In 2015, Rhiyen developed one of the earliest large-scale strategic partnerships designed specifically around social media, connecting the Billboard Music Awards with Teen Vogue, alongside a Models.com and American Music Awards social media partnership that same year. In 2016, he developed a BET Awards and Teen Vogue social media partnership, and later a partnership between Teen Vogue and Marc Jacobs. At a time when many media executives still regarded social media as an afterthought, these collaborations demonstrated the potential of social platforms at scale and showed how they could become central drivers of audience engagement, commercial value, and cultural relevance.
Throughout his career, he has developed and led campaigns, partnerships, and strategic initiatives involving many of the world’s most recognized brands, media companies, and cultural institutions, across luxury, fashion, music, entertainment, and international publishing.
As Director of Digital & Strategy for Flaunt Magazine, Rhiyen has helped guide the publication’s digital evolution and contributed to the development of one of the largest digital footprints in its sector.
